'It could not be more direct

in its technique or more incendiary

in its ambitions.' NEW YORK TIMES

Whichever side you take, you're wrong.

A truly profound play from the author of Glengarry Glen Ross. Oleanna delves into the savage power struggle between a university professor and one of his female students. She accuses him of sexual harassment, he says she's maliciously misinterpreting his behaviour. In the no-man's land between these two scenarios, the misunderstanding deepens. The drama unfolds and we watch helplessly as it moves towards an astonishing explosive climax.

So powerful is leading American playwright David Mamet's writing, that during its New York and London runs, fights broke out in the audiences. Is it age old male predatory harassment? Or is it rampant feminist propaganda, hell-bent on castrating the male ego?

Only you can decide.

Please note: The play contains some strong language.
